Our Staff Spotlight goes out to Beth Jacobson, our phenomenal Human Resources Coordinator. She attended Sarah Lawrence College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and specialized in Child Psychology and Disability Studies. Beth is extremely passionate about her work at the McCarton Center because she received Early Intervention Services and is proof of the life changing impact treatment can have a child’s life. Our Staff Spotlight feature goes out to Dan Venezuela our COO! His expertise in strategic planning, logistical coordination, and project management has enabled to him to leave a lasting mark on The McCarton Foundation for the last four years. Dan has spent his summer preparing the Bronx center for receiving babies in September. He played a critical role the construction of our new space and in moving our offices to the Bronx. On a daily basis, Dan manages our budget and finances, which he has to report to the board. Our Staff Spotlight shines on Sarah Williams this week! She lives right here in the Bronx and attends Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. She is a member of the Saint Mike’s women's soccer team and an Economics major. She enjoys everything business related and spends a lot of her time managing our budget and finances. Of course, she is the Business Intern and enjoys working with the McCarton Center because she gets to do business for a good cause. Our Staff Spotlight today goes out to Sapna Swayampakula the Administrative Intern. She attends Seton Hall University and she majors in Criminal Justice with a minor in Law. Sapna chose to work at McCarton Center to better understand and build a better relationship with her autistic cousins. Sapna assists with the day to day running of the McCarton Center. She acts as a medium between retail businesses and the center’s administration.
